KVKK Disclosure Notice (Türkiye)

• Identity: name, username, date of birth, gender (optional)
• Contact: e-mail address
• Customer transaction: account activity, support requests, reports and moderation records
• Transaction security: IP address, device identifier, session and sign-in records, connection and traffic logs
• Visual and audio records: profile photo, photos, videos and voice recordings shared in posts and messages
• Location: approximate or precise location, taken only with your permission and only while the app is in the foreground
• Marketing: advertising identifier, advertising consent state, your messaging permissions
• Other: interests, privacy preferences, and your in-app content and messages

• Creating and administering your membership account
• Providing matching, chat, posts and notification services
• Enforcing the age limit and protecting minors
• Running information security processes and preventing abuse and fraud
• Handling requests and complaints, taking moderation decisions and assessing appeals
• Conducting our activities in compliance with the law and informing competent persons and authorities
• Carrying out storage and archiving activities
• Displaying advertising and — where you give explicit consent — personalising it
• Sending commercial electronic messages where you give explicit consent

Your personal data is processed on the following grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK:

• Art. 5(2)(c) — directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract: account creation, matching, chat and posts.
• Art. 5(2)(ç) — compliance with a legal obligation of the controller: record-keeping under Law No. 5651, requests from authorities.
• Art. 5(2)(e) — establishment, exercise or protection of a right: providing evidence in disputes, moderation and appeal records.
• Art. 5(2)(f) — legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms: security, prevention of abuse, service improvement.
• Art. 5(2)(d) — data made public by the data subject: posts you share publicly.
• Art. 5(1) — explicit consent: processing of location data, ad personalisation, commercial electronic messages, and consent-based international transfers.

Your personal data is collected electronically through the 15 Minutes mobile application, by partly automated and automated means.

Sources: information you enter yourself, technical data your device transmits automatically, information from Google/Apple when you use their sign-in, and reports other users make about you.

Under Article 8 of the KVKK your data may be transferred to the suppliers who provide us with hosting, content delivery, notification, authentication and advertising services, to our legal advisers, and — on request — to competent public authorities.

Transfer to other users happens only to the extent your privacy settings allow, and only for content you share.

Some of our providers' servers are located abroad. International transfers are made under Article 9 of the KVKK on the basis of your explicit consent, or of appropriate safeguards such as standard contracts, undertakings or an adequacy decision.

Your data is kept for as long as the purpose requires, taking into account the minimum periods the law prescribes.

The periods are listed by category in the Retention section of the Privacy Policy.

Once a period expires, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised under the Turkish Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymisation of Personal Data.

• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly
• To know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
• To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
• To request deletion or destruction within the conditions of Article 7
• To request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
• To object to an adverse outcome produced by analysis carried out solely by automated systems
• To claim compensation for loss caused by unlawful processing

In accordance with the Turkish Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may send your requests:

• to 15minutessupport@ryujinlabs.com from the e-mail address registered in our system,
• or to Merkez Mahallesi, Sude Sokak, No: 15-17, Kat: 3, Çekmeköy/İstanbul as a signed written petition with proof of identity, in person or through a notary.

We conclude applications within 30 days at the latest. Where the request incurs a cost, the fee set in the Board's tariff may be charged.

If your application is rejected, you find the response inadequate, or no response is given in time, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the response and in any case within 60 days of your application.
